Algebra - Lesson 4

When you come to be in terms with yourself, you find nothing is more fitting than just laugh out loud just
because you can (just don't do it when you are all by yourself because that's a different story!).

Like I said in previous posts, a good laugh in class goes a long, long way in learning.  You will know that you are doing the right thing in teaching your little learners in class as they would be engaging you in conversation, laughter, and class rules. Specially when you work on Lesson 4 of the Hands-On Algebra.

Lesson 4, is still about Legal Moves but this time it is with the Red Dice (numbers).  You  need to slow down on this as not only will the children be working on the legal moves for the red dice but also with the jacks. Still the same rule, whatever you take away from one side, you take the same value on the other side. You keep doing that until all the red dices are on one side, and all the jacks are on the other side (regardless which side of the balance scale). Then this is when you get the value of x.
